I wonder if in the next few decades we'll see an uptick in homeschooling as a reaction to wokeness infecting the schools

Isn't this already the biggest driver of homeschooling? Hardcore Christians that dislike how far towards "wokeness" mainstream education already is compared to their preferences?

I'm not sure but my intuition is no. When I was homeschooled, the biggest driver was reducing exposure to stuff like evolution and premarital sex. My parents today also don't know very much about wokeness, so I assume wokeness hasn't hit christian communities hard yet

Inability to cope with diversity of thought and rejections of the monoculture has been the driving force of homeschooling for a long time.

They’ll demonize it as home-grown terrorism. The same thing will happen when companies start hiring more capable self-educated talent. The slow bloated academic institutions will look like Funny Farms in comparison to private study groups, and it will terrify them.

Hopefully not. Obviously not everyone but a lot of homeschool kids turn out to be weird antisocial things which can be detrimental when they are an adult
