Well actually fuck the nyt. I felt roughly neutral about them but now that I saw them write about a topic I'm deeply familiar with I realize how actually inaccurate and misrepresenting and unethical they are.

Casually read SSC with respect occasionally, thought there was nothing wrong with the NYT article. Learned from it. Come away liking Scott 15 percent less, with no false info.

The most sensationalist moments in it to me were the many links to SSC posts I hadn't read, mostly validating the article's narrative, for me. I know you feel personally attacked by the same people, in the same way, so that's the story of the story for you.
