I didn't ask about more than one of the partners for poly people (due to logistical limitations of question design) so it's possible those were shorter; however this indicates if you're the "main" squeeze of a poly person, there's about as much commitment as there is for monogs

There is a common false narrative that when a polyam relationship fails, it was because of the type of relationship rather than the people in it. But when a mono relationship fails, hardly anyone blames the monogamy itself.
