idk but they seem to be alive and well on TikTok!
I find it sort of bizarre that #fyp #foryoupage are such popular hashtags though 🤷🏽♀️

On tiktok you can either look at your “following” page, which is people you follow or the “for you page”, which is a mix of who you follow and popular stuff.
So it’s the main algorithm.
It would be like if lots of tweets had #trending.

I read somewhere that people believe that tag will make them favored by the algorithm
I assume that at least now they do, bc they are such popular hashtags?
