I have a kid, he has some of the same issues, I teach him the tricks I've picked up along the way and he's doing great, much better than I did at his age. I don't regret a thing.

My kids are like you and are also so amazing and brilliant.

You are at least currently making a lot of money. Could you afford to hire part time help or something to help ease the burden? Spend money to help outsource some of the stuff you suck at
-
Yeah, that's the idea. I would only really have kids if I could patch up a lot of my own brain function problems with money.

But do you really have any of those syndromes or is it self-diagnosed? Because I've notice on the internet a lot you young women who think they have autism simply because they have some weird quirks and think that makes the more interesting....
-
ignoring diagnosis or what you call it, I have significant difficulty functioning according to what most people consider 'normal standards' in life

ADHD parent here. Helps a lot that I have a more neurotypical partner. Also (and this may be general experience that applies more to ND folks) my experience is parenthood rewires your priorities a *lot*. You get a lot less “done”, but you focus better on what matters

Yes. I have a number of similar issues and do not regret my children at all, just the opposite. Cliche, yes, but having the responsibility worked as a sort of behavioral therapy. I got a bit better, still a mess in that dept. Partner and some resources def helped.
