But it's supposed to be abnormal ( to a certain extent of course). The child will be exposed to awkward and sometimes difficult situations outside of their safe zone that will enhance their social skills. But I admit that this won't work with everyone.

And the fact that homeschooling creates a more controlled, supervised and safe environment might work against their development since they will be less exposed to the risks of semi supervised or sometimes unsupervised socialization that can occur in schools.
