I'm not equating them. "More commitment of exclusivity" implies I prob think there more commitment involved w exclusivity, that there is a kind of overlap, tie w them, not equated. Esp in context of children. Agree or not, it has little bearing on the prime focus of the question

It actually has a bearing on the prime focus of the question, because your question only makes sense given your assumption which is not necessarily shared. If your assumption doesn't stand, the answer would be quite obviously "yes, would do that in poly because thats who I am".
