Often people ask me "how do you deal with jealousy in polyamory?" When I get jealous, I meditate on the feeling. What am I afraid of? It's usually stuff like "I'm afraid he'll like her better than me" or "I'm afraid he'll leave me for her". 1/7

I wasted over 8 years on a monog relationship with assorted "bad feelings" that I tried to logic out of, so the answer to that I suppose is "idealism" I don't feel jealousy, so I guess I don't get why someone who does would intentionally enter a relationship that inspired it

Often this isn't how it goes down. The worst jealousy I felt wasn't until 3 months into our relationship, and lasted off and on until about 9 months in, after which it was golden. And imo getting through that jealousy was worth it and helped me become more stable.

Like, be in full emotional contact with the pain of losing them, at all times. Sorta like how my life feels best lived when I am constantly brushing up against the wall of death, and my body radiates with subconscious pain and gratitude
