What are you insinuating "enlightened" means? Of course any human experience is a result of our brain states. If not please explain how. They'd be enlightened, but by another mechanism.

There's an argument that the struggle is integral, but imo, knowing is knowing.

This is similar to asking "There's a drug makes you feel happy. Is that basically happiness?" Ok - it's the state of happiness, but it's a lot more useful if you know how to get there on your own, unless this miracle drug works perfectly for everyone and no side effects forever.
