I've updated my opinion on poly. I think it's great training wheels for serious relationships bc it forces you to learn how to communicate about difficult things with partners.
I'm still not convinced, however, that it can work in a stable long-term community

I feel like poly is a way of starting to kind of rupture the isolation of atomic modernity, or I can imagine it as a kind of liquid phase as one structure dissolves to be replaced by others
