Like, they say there's no racial categories, but... i got a DNA test which puts me into clear categories...

"There's no scientific basis for most *cultural* ideas about race" is probably true.
Pretending there aren't racial groups that evolved in response to different environmental pressures? That ignores science.
They're playing word games, switching the meaning mid-conversation.

when they say race they mean "black" and "white" and then they motte and bailey around with the biological racial categories at will to make slippery arguments.
