Then you're an idiot. You enjoy governmental services every second that you are alive. Taxes pay for them. Be mad at the corruption, but not the taxes. Japan has a tax of about 31% and is one of the best countries to live in. Less corruption.

If a private person used the same argument you just did to justify their stealing, they'd be ran the fuck out of town and rightly so. Yet because it's government doing it, it's somehow ok? I call bullshit. It's wrong no matter who does it.

I think he's trying to argue a contract type situation there, although reading that back it does come off very different from that I would agree. Regardless though, the system doesn't work as described in practice.
