It kinda really sucks when all the pieces of a new gender theory jigsaw are inherently flawed because they have existed for so long. I think this is why people mostly hit out at anything queer, its just fear of newness/change.

Most definitions are implicitly based either directly or indirectly on biological sex. That the theory also requires the denial of the reality of biological sex does present a bit of a conundrum. It’s typically resolved through hand-waving & mumbling about “lived experience”.

Ah, that’s interesting, but not sure it works. It doesn’t square with a common principle: you are not the only one who decides what role you play. People don’t have to honor your claim that you’re “married” or a “lawyer” or an “immigrant” without some kind of external approval.
