I *genuinely* do not understand this. I get how forced eugenics is horrific, but eugenics doesn't *mean* that it's forced, right? It could be voluntary?

What form of eugenics are we talking about? A cultural stigma against incest is a form of voluntary negative eugenics that I would argue is good; however, I doubt this is what the vast majority of people think of when they hear the term.
