The redefinition of the word ‘racist’ freaks me out. We went through centuries of rationalizing it any way we could to finally figure out that ‘discrimination based on race’ was a horrible thing regardless of justification. But redefinition is just another justification! 1/

The "woke" definition of racism focuses on power dynamics instead of simple discrimination. The implication is that the race that holds "the power" is the only race that can be racist. The woke version therefore allows for facially discriminatory policy to pass muster.

Take all the labels out. Black communities are underserved. Does it make sense to say it's racist to invest more in bring them to equal footing via programs that help them in particular? "Power dynamics" is an idea that is very much in the Rights mind.
