POC are disproportionately impacted by poverty, which makes it harder for them in many areas of life. But shouldn't our reaction to this be helping the poor, most of which will be POC, instead of helping POC, of which a minority will be poor?

Sorry; actually about 50% of people in poverty are POC (I said POC, not black), or at least were in 2010.

ok I'm sure Hispanics and Asians are also like lay off.. we got this.. probably those numbers are skewed even worse since 2009 great recession and covid k-shaped recovery towards people already poor..
