I often tweet critically about the left more than the right, and I suspect this is because I see more bad leftist stuff closer in my social spheres, and only rarely bad right stuff. But I do think if I started hanging around more right wingers I would get more upset about it.

Considering you earn at least part of your living doing something the right would want to ban outright, you may want to reconsider which side you choose to identify with. You may THINK you agree with the right, but it's the left that protects your profession.

Oh I don't agree with the right. The right are terrifying and you're correct in that they want to ban my profession. It's just, I feel like the right 'only' wants me to be a trad; the left feels like they want to gut out my mind entirely.

Huh? How do you figure that? My experience is vastly different. I gained an awareness of the left's ideals through education, and my experience has always been that they are more open and accepting. I don't understand how you can say that. Have you ever attended a university?

Mostly based on the kind of hate I get when my tweets get shared into either extreme on Clubhouse. I'm pretty down with generic mainstream liberalism! I'm referring to the far left woke stuff, which has absolutely given me a lot of hate for extremely little reason.
