I often tweet critically about the left more than the right, and I suspect this is because I see more bad leftist stuff closer in my social spheres, and only rarely bad right stuff. But I do think if I started hanging around more right wingers I would get more upset about it.

I'm really torn on this and not sure how to make sense of it. I agree Qanon is unprecedented levels of delusional and very weird and scary. Idk how to compare that level of delusional to what happened at Evergreen for example. Two different types of delusional?

You can say that and nothing happens 🤷🏻‍♀️ Weirdo left wing extremists spouting off online don’t do much, nor do they reflect the real world offline. The left’s delusion isn’t as normalized as you claim, otherwise Trump couldn’t have been elected in the first place.

This seems obviously false to me? How is left extremism online disconnected from the world but right extremism isn't? And the fact that Trump got elected and then shit right before Biden got elected makes me think the normalization of left delusional is about equal

The fact that Trump got elected and most Republican politicians seemingly lost the ability for independent thinking hopped on board with his insanity, and only recently are some jumping off the sinking ship, points to right extremism IRL to me.

Ok I do think I agree that right extremism hit government more. I also think right extremists were in the minority voting for trump in the first round, and now trump lost. I also think there's other powerful institutions that are equally as run by left extremists.
