The redefinition of the word ‘racist’ freaks me out. We went through centuries of rationalizing it any way we could to finally figure out that ‘discrimination based on race’ was a horrible thing regardless of justification. But redefinition is just another justification! 1/

The definition doesn't say it's ok; 'racist' is a very strong word used to rightfully designate a terrible thing. The redefinition - when you hear "reverse racism isn't a thing" - is *removing* racism against white people from that word.

Uh racism in its modern form is about systemic powers and the hegemonies that exert control over satellite communities. White people have power and in the neocolonial context they therefore cannot be victims of racism. One can discriminate against them, but you can’t be racist
