Yes but then it would have to be a big sample, I just noticed there is a significant difference in the size of your two samples, that is also a contributing factor, and it might skew the results.
Selection is more important than size here.
Except it’s much more likely that this is driven by the selection into your follower pool since these numbers diverge greatly from national random polls.

No but a lot of work goes into making sure that the two samples are similar enough in most important respects that they can be compared safely - self-selected samples from follower lists on Twitter don’t do this
