Antifa has grown a mild affinity to guns. I doubt guns are going anywhere. With skyrocketing city crime, some loosening of the gun policy in those jurisdictions isn’t hard to imagine.

Even in the most anti-gun countries, it's still legal to purchase a gun. You just have to jump through more and more hoops, don't have access all types of firearms, can't do concealed carry etc.

This question depends if you live in a free state or not. CA, NY, and NJ are hostile to legal gun owners, and the goal of the new administration is to make gun ownership as difficult as possible for the common people.
