My sister has a stalker who's pretending to be her online, multiple platforms. On facebook, this stalker got my sister kicked off *her* facebook account by claiming that my sister was the imposter. The stalker preemptively blocks all my sister's friends & me so we can't report -

Is there irl issues from this? If that's the case, it might be easier to go to the cops than try to work around the social media sites.

So far the main issue is that my sister hasn't been able to have a Facebook account with her name or any photos of her on it, but no further impact yet

This is the first time I've heard of FB getting this wrong. If your sister can provide photos of identity documents like bills, photo UDs, etc, they should be able to reverse this.

She did email them ID but this didn’t help. It was really strange how FB was so inept in this case.
