I feel like I'm really not buying right wing claims they want freedom. I'm a polyamorous sex worker, I know if you got power you'd restrict my freedoms and even more in the name of what you think is good for society. How is that any different from what left wingers are doing?

It’s different in substance, obviously, as conservatives, progressives, reactionaries, liberals, and even libertarians all have different conceptions of the good. The question isn’t whether citizens will be coerced—they obviously will. All that matters is how, and to what end.

Not all of us, but for those leaning libertarian, it's gotten much harder to say the anti-freedom impulse of the Trump right doesn't represent the right. But there are many sections, in present moment, pretty diminished, but they exist, who are fanatics for freedom.

The thoughtful ones would say they want "ordered liberty" - as much liberty as is consistent with a well-ordered society. Big difference between a conservative's conception of liberty and a libertarian's.

Who is “the right wing”? There is a world of difference between a Rand Paul and a Matt Walsh, and I can tell you right now that the latter’s views are a vanishingly small minority.

Maybe religious conservatives, but I think most moderate right wingers would leave you alone.
