in many ways the conservative position is always going to be a reaction to change...and its not a "bad" thing because many changes are bad. Its also not a "good" thing either because some change is good. "reactionary" unfortunately has a bad connotation

Because the "left wing" accepts the narrative of the State/MSM/Technocrats. It pats them on the back. Hence their rioting/violence all summer with impunity. Whereas the right was constantly accused (see Proud Boys) and then now are being labeled domestic terrorist.

That's a pretty biased take. Social media tends to make everyone feel justified in their opinions and validated in their victimhood, no matter how sane or radical their ideas. BLM protests have far more merit than the reasoning those who broke into the Capitol building had.
