I often read left wing stuff I disagree with, but haven't paid as much attention to right wing stuff I disagree with.

It's similar in that it generalized the opponent to make a narrative - but it's different in that it feels more reactionary to me. There's a clear narrative they're responding to, whereas the thing left wing ppl don't seem to have this quite as much.

in many ways the conservative position is always going to be a reaction to change...and its not a "bad" thing because many changes are bad. Its also not a "good" thing either because some change is good. "reactionary" unfortunately has a bad connotation

Because the "left wing" accepts the narrative of the State/MSM/Technocrats. It pats them on the back. Hence their rioting/violence all summer with impunity. Whereas the right was constantly accused (see Proud Boys) and then now are being labeled domestic terrorist.

The right is better cohered than the left. The left is a kitchen sink of desires for different groups.
