one of my favorite things about space is the large-scale structure: if you zoom out enough, galaxies form structures, sheets, walls, and voids, making a neuron-esque web.
and if you zoom out too far, the structures turn into uniform noise, a scale called the End of Greatness

It gives me great pleasure to visualize myself as no more than a tiny dot on Earth, Earth as a tiny dot in the Milky Way, the Milky Way as a tiny dot in the Virgo galaxy cluster, and then Virgo as a tiny dot in the Laniakea supercluster.
