iirc rates of gay acceptance in the us is way higher than poly acceptance.
I personally feel significantly less safe as a poly person than I do as a bisexual

Sure from an outside perspective, but I'm here from an experienced inside perspective to tell you that's not what's going on and that is a harmful misconception/stereotype. Country music is not about polyamory. I don't think I've ever heard any song that supports my lifestyle.

?? Are you poly? I absolutely consider people to be deeply squicked by polyamory. Did you see the reaction to that one single mainstream depiction of poly people on tv? I feel like I'm constantly getting hate for my polyamory and I've never once ever gotten it for my bisexuality
