This is not gonna put illustrators out of business come on, this will be an starting point which clients will give to an illustrator to base on, AI is far from providing definitive art work. But I can see people using this as sketches! 😁

It'll drastically lower the barrier of entry for illustration work - Illustrations use fundamental rules relating to human vision and judgement, and the images must still be judged and appraised by a human in order to be tailored for the intended effect....

I doubt it. It will, however, take away a lot of low hanging fruit. But frankly, clip art and stock imagery has already taken a lot of that away. If the work performed by this AI can be delivered in an easily user editable form, I can imagine how it can take a much larger chunk.
