This is fascinating seeing my very wrong reply some 2 weeks before the entire European continent closed their borders and went into lockdown. Two weeks into the future and I (we?) had absolutely no idea.

Could do a correlating poll now - months/seasons until things return to normal for your city. See if we're similarly optimistic for this year and the virus.

I compared it to the flu ... two reasons: did not know enough and I used US data in the comparison.
Compare common flu burden in the US to the world and other similar countries ... you'll be surprised.
(The CDC and the EUCDC have easy to find data)
