The Economist newspaper recently covered this in 2020. The government payments lowered it further but removal and continued unemployment runs risk of reversing the recent gains.

The government strategy of recklessly gassing the economy with deficit-funded tax cuts and cheap borrowing definitely does have some short-term benefits.
The problem is that it's not sustainable.
