Do you ever sit there doin mundanity when you realize hey, I'm gonna die; this moment's gonna pass, I'm gonna get older, this will be a memory, having slipped through my fingers like rope, but right now I'm gripping it, it's not gone yet, this is it, this mundanity is my purpose?

I often think about how much more robust my experience is in my short-term memories immediately after it happens than my long-term memories and how much of that is lost forever.

The Bible had a word for it - it’s called toil. All this useless nonsensical work that we do regularly, Sisyphean effort expelled trying to avoid the inevitable.
