I have views on the handling of covid that I'm afraid to say on twitter. This is interesting because there's not a lot I'm afraid to say on twitter. Even more interesting is I wasn't fully aware of the fear until recently; it felt like I just "didn't feel like talking about it"

Right, but one thing that took me a long time to learn is that occasionally they *are* wrong, and I do have the confidence to occasionally disagree with high confidence

Nice, now if you can develop a meta theory about how to identify the cases in which they are wrong then you will be onto something big. In the meantime it does not hurt to re-examining and trying to be particularly suspicious about your usual biases.
