A theory: population distribution of types mean there are more Introverted Sensors (prefer to receive experiences) than Extroverted Sensors (prefer to perform an experience). Marked red, Si, receiver types; Marked blue, Se, performer types.

Iirc this isn’t what Se and Si mean; the difference is the ‘source’ for the sensations, where your attention rests; do you get sensations internally or externally? Probably your dominant function’s direction, particularly if it’s a judging one, would have more impact on this
