“Smartest” is a lot more multi-dimensional than IQ which is reductive and not great but at least a number. Could have much more than 3 people being the smartest in some capacity

Maybe try a poll with something like "the smartest person in the world for all of past and future history" as a control question?

No, my IQ is 127, so I would expect at least 50-150 smarter people to vote in this poll.
