Can you elaborate on how? Based on the screenshots uploaded, it seems this is targeting the removal of videos featuring persons who did not consent to being in said video.
Sites do this already. It's the infrastructure around it that smaller companies can't handle, and larger companies like reddit and twitter will very likely just ban all porn.
I'm not on OF, but how will this likely destroy your income from it? If im not mistaken, OF is something the creator of the content themselves has to open an account for (ergo consenting to). Is there OF accounts that are a mash up of multiple peoples content?
You only get income from of if you advertise. Most advertising is done on reddit and twitter, sites that will likely ban nsfw content if this bill passes
I guess it becomes a definition game then. Does a teaser gif of your content count as pornography? Perhaps new verification plugins/apps can be implemented that will greenlight NSFW content as long as it is linked to an approved site like OF. (where creators give consent)
It'd be great if they'd do that but tbh I doubt they'll go through the effort. I imagine it'll work similar to Instagram / Facebook - rid their sites of all adult content or anything sexually suggestive. It's the easiest move for these platforms.
