clubhouse is horrifically racist. i've never before heard such complete cruelty, lack of empathy, and sheer hatred towards people based on the color of their skin or ethnicity - and it's *explicitly stated*, not even subtle.

To clarify, I should have phrased that better. The app itself is just an app - it's that many of the conversations on the app are extremely racist, more racist than I've ever heard in my life.

Everyone is horrifically racist. I mean every human, I have ever met and will. It isnt something that is easy to work on.

I've never met people before *like this* though. There's a really meaningful difference in the way these people are treating race from other humans I've encountered in my life.

I just clarified in another tweet - but the entire app is not racist, it's that a lot of conversations (the majority maybe?) are very racist, and this seems pretty normalized.
