It's crazy how much everyday online services are not prepared to accommodate people with stalkers. There's been multiple services I can't use because they don't allow you to keep certain information not publicly visible.

It’s amazing how many have poor security questions and 2 factor as well. ANY security question that a stranger can guess or just find out of public information, should never be present. “what’s your mothers maiden name?” Yeah, that will let ANYONE reset your password w 1 google

I wonder how many women or people will have to face violence before it becomes a standard feature to hide info. Maybe it will require a high profile case?

I can see where you’re coming from. I’ve been forced to provide identifiable information about myself on some platforms under the guise of ‘accountability’ to be able to continue using them.

The services don't handle it because they aren't required to. They do the bare minimum to keep people using their services. Always keep yourself safe however you can.
