I'm kinda uncomfortable with the government shutting everything down due to covid. I get why, but i mean... the government was telling us not to wear masks for a while, I'm not comfortable with their judgment calls being used to forcefully remove people's livelihoods.

Your government never told you not to wear masks. They’ve always said it was a personal choice. People are just shitty enough to make bad decisions. It’s funny tho, how many people equate “choose for yourself” to “don’t do it”.

CDC does not currently recommend the use of facemasks to help prevent novel #coronavirus. Take everyday preventive actions, like staying home when you are sick and washing hands with soap and water, to help slow the spread of respiratory illness. #COVID19 bit.ly/37Ay6Cm

1) that’s from February. You haven’t gotten any info since February? 2) do you understand the difference between “does not recommend” and “recommends against”? They are not the same thing

You skipped that second part I guess? They said masks were not needed bc they were asking us to distance. Your inability to understand language does not change what was actually said. Masks wouldn’t have been necessary if people had followed distancing guidelines
