Given how much ppl around me seem to be into leaving to form their own communities, I'm sorta surprised I haven't yet heard any black people suggest moving en masse to a predominantly black country to make their own city there, given how displeased they are about the US.

I'm not commenting on the idea itself, I'm just noticing that it seems weird that I haven't heard it suggested yet. Lots of my own friends who are less angry at the US are planning on leaving the country to make their own community somewhere more independent.

You’d think so. Except the loudest voices are professional upper middle class blacks. In fact when polled, bourgeoisie blacks consistently rate racism as a larger issue than poor disenfranchised blacks

Also most predominantly-black countries tend to have much lower cost of living; if the people who are moving have the ability to work from home at all, which is more common due to covid, then this is a great financial move.
