Given how much ppl around me seem to be into leaving to form their own communities, I'm sorta surprised I haven't yet heard any black people suggest moving en masse to a predominantly black country to make their own city there, given how displeased they are about the US.

I'm not commenting on the idea itself, I'm just noticing that it seems weird that I haven't heard it suggested yet. Lots of my own friends who are less angry at the US are planning on leaving the country to make their own community somewhere more independent.

Humans get attached to where they are pretty quickly and quite strongly.
I mean, you don't see libertarians, progressives, jewish people, or any other group moving en masse to be in their own nations or states either.

1 thing to understand about Black folk. They censor themselves around white people. The idea is that we have to accommodate white folks's somewhat "fragile" sensibilities. Not my words, but this is how these conversations go within the community.

I'm sorry but this is racist, being black is not an ideology, and the solution to fighting injustice is not to run.
