When I was growing up, whether women should have the right to vote was an actual conversation

No disrespect but how old are you? Because I'm no spring chicken, and I don't recall that being a conversation (except in some weird recesses of the Internet) in my lifetime.

Seriously? Or is this some kind of Twitter social experiment? Or just trolling? Or was it just a single conversation you heard between two people when you were growing up?

Naw, it was in the water. I personally wasn't sure if women should have the right to vote and I had debates about it with friends a few times.

You’re 28 and people really entertained that around you? Sounds like some fringey shit. I grew up in the PNW in a college town though.

Tbf I think the problem is more with.democracy like this in general; any majority can remove rights from a minority, with this particular example it happens to be women.
