Ive been on

for a decade. I've met and dated several people from that website. I've been an dedicated active user and advocate. Today, I tried to log in and found my account was banned. No explanation why, no opportunity for appeal. I'm bitterly disappointed.

Is it because I'm a sex worker? I wasn't using okcupid for advertising at all, but legitimately for dating. I'd answered over a thousand questions, maybe two thousand.

They should have asked me to verify it was me. My account clearly was very old and had a ton of activity.

They have user based moderation not staff, no verification system either so it’s literally up to users to report images as “stolen” and then users to google image search them and go “yep these were stolen fro this content creator, ban em” it’s a real mess how they do it

I was a moderator! I know how it works, and users couldn't ban other users, they could just take down photos
