Ive been on

for a decade. I've met and dated several people from that website. I've been an dedicated active user and advocate. Today, I tried to log in and found my account was banned. No explanation why, no opportunity for appeal. I'm bitterly disappointed.

Is it because I'm a sex worker? I wasn't using okcupid for advertising at all, but legitimately for dating. I'd answered over a thousand questions, maybe two thousand.

Yeah, I think they have a policy to remove people they think are sex workers out of the fear they are using the site commercially. Sesta/fosta might even require it, or at least their lawyers would require it to minimize liability.

That's just wrong. If you did not violate any of their rules. How did they went onto targeting you. Did they research your activities beyond their site? What the hell?

It´s so fucking anoying. We have the same problem with german dating websites, even them especially for sex-dates. The fucking private accounts of sexworkers get banned all the time. #sexworkiswork
