I don't understand how people manage to drink soda. It tastes absolutely awful. Every year or so I give it a shot to see what I'm missing and it's like eating sugar syrup.

oh god i KNOW. my roommates made some recently and i nearly threw up. had to spit it in the trash. t hen they've been trying to disguise brussel sprouts in other things and that's been working better.

Brussel sprouts are easy to mess up. People who like them will tolerate ok ones that would gag the unconverted. Cut in half, toss with salt, pepper, olive oil, and broil.
