Wondering what the break-even point for marriage is, ie what is the minimum quality of marriage such that you are indifferent to being unmarried forever.
iirc a study i saw once said that marriage is 'divisive' with happiness; good marriages mean you're happier than being solo, bad marriages mean you're unhappier than being solo. Probably it's better being solo than married to an incompatable person
