i really hate how im feeling increasing incentive to present as impressive and cool on twitter so people invite me on podcasts and stuff, and how this is really at odds with my perpetual desire to make poop jokes

i can definitely impress many people with poop jokes, but im not so sure about impressing, say, elon musk
Elon would absolutely love a good poop joke. You might maybe have to frame it in terms of entropy or something

when people I respect follow me, I've developed the habit of immediately posting the kind of stuff I'd be reputationally shy about, so I don't let inhibition build up in a way that could quiet my inner free voice
