For a lot of marriages, the husband cheating with a sex worker is the only thing keeping the marriage together

because i sense possible ratio incoming, i wanna clarify that what the hell is a husband supposed to do when his wife of 30 years stops having sex with him entirely? leave her, throw everything away that they've built, or just spend the rest of his life never having sex again?

That is a bulls** argument, and you know it. No one is entitled to sex. A husband is not entitled to his wife's body, or anyone else's. If one wants sex & the other doesn't, then that needs to be discussed, open & honestly. Divorce is much better than living in misery.

Again, no one is entitled to sex. Giving 'escorts' as an option is still saying that someone's sexual desires, trump someone else's right to their own bodies. Gaining sexual gratification through the exploited is never necessary. Sexual intimacy is not a right.

That degrades the wife and makes a mockery of her status. For a start, the husband breaks his wedding vows, repeatedly. So what kind of marriage is that? Adultery with a prostitute is still adultery. The act of sex cannot be divorced from the person, and commodified.
