I have also found this to be true outside of sex work. The more generic looking humans are often times better in bed.

My theory is that unattractive clients have learned that in order to have repeat engagements with any partner (not just sex workers) that they have to provide as enjoyable experience as possible. Because there will always be a another better choice for the partner based on looks
