Absolutely true. And if the husband is going to cheat, it's better to do it with a contained, safe sex worker who is std tested regularly. Way lower chance of her "stealing" the husband away, and the husband gets a sexual outlet so he's less likely to leave the marriage! https://twitter.com/default_friend/status/1330650785609355267 …

For a lot of marriages, the husband cheating with a sex worker is the only thing keeping the marriage together

because i sense possible ratio incoming, i wanna clarify that what the hell is a husband supposed to do when his wife of 30 years stops having sex with him entirely? leave her, throw everything away that they've built, or just spend the rest of his life never having sex again?

Fair. From my ignorant male perspective I always thought even if it had become a chore - you still do the chore

I think being penetrated when you'd prefer to not be can be "a chore" for some people, but can also feel intensely violating. Add in concerns of pain or just asymmetries in pleasure during sex, and it's hard to argue that one should be expected to just suck it up.

That said, I also don't think we should have social norms that tell folks they should just suck it up if their marriage isn't satisfying sexually, or find satisfaction elsewhere and lie about it to their partner.
