For a lot of marriages, the husband cheating with a sex worker is the only thing keeping the marriage together

Define "better to" because thats the key part of your claim and it reeks of bias. How do you determine what is best/better for a marriage? Is it necessarily good for any marriage for cheating (which is by definition, unknown, non consensual) to occur?

I guess actually upon reading this a few times you did say "less likely to leave" which means better would mean just less likely to dissolve. Which I guess if fair but not necessarily a good thing, or bad.

The man might feel more inclined to stay but the wife less likely in this scenario.Unlesd you're saying don't tell the wife and destroy everything if she finds out. If the woman finds herself in a sexless marriage she's less likely to go for random sex.Whether she stays, complex.

I cant speak for those people but even that seems very loaded (perhaps on purpose?) To play devils advocate here, I'd imagine those in preserving a marriage camp don't suggest you preserve it by deceit/outsourcing The question is, do they believe you must preserve at all cost?
