No, it probably only works if the wives don't know about it, which is a shame. I wish more wives would be ok with it so men in these situations didn't have to lie to get their needs met.

Women don't just stop having sex with their husbands. It's usually done because their needs are not being met or because they are loosing intimacy with their husbands. A husband resorting to cheating, with or without a SWer, would only further this divide.

If you want to save your marriage, you need to ask yourself "what could have caused my partner to stop having sex with me?". And then work on fixing that.
